| KOOTENAY ENTERTAINMENT GUIDE Although we have all been in the entertainment industry for many years, it became apparent to us that living in the Kootenays and looking for things to do when we weren't working had become a problem. If there were things to do and places to go, where would you go to find out? We needed a crystal ball...
The main purpose of this website is to provide a resource for everyone in the Kootenays, from the business owners and operators to the general public, to post and view public events taking place throughout the entire region. In 2001, the Kootenay Entertainment Guide launched to a small but loyal audience, focusing primarily on the East Kootenays. Currently providing a weekly ezine to around 600 subscribers throughout the entire region (as of January 1, 2009), along with the in-depth website listings, the goal that many wanted but few were willing to pursue, had became a reality.
Following complete redesigns of the website and ezine from the ground up which lasted several months (late 2008 to Jan 2009), we're proud to be back, bigger and better than ever!
The Kootenay Entertainment Guide is designed by Kootenay residence for those who either live in or visit the Kootenays. Your support has been and will always be appreciated but can be shown best by posting events, advertising through us and clicking on the various ads displayed on the website.
